Responsibilities
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches across cloud and on-premise environments
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection strategies using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of critical systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from multiple sources including EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
- Document security procedures and create executive-level security risk reports
- Mentor junior security analysts and lead security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expert knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
