Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM tools to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security breaches, coordinate incident response, and implement remediation strategies.
- Enforce security policies and access control measures to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network infrastructure.
- Create and update security documentation, including playbooks and incident reports.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency with security tools (e.g., Splunk, SIEM, SIEM, Nmap, Wireshark).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
