Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (e.g., NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Proficiency in security tools including SIEM, EDR, and Threat Intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure during active incidents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
