Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols across cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response investigations, including malware analysis and digital forensics
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts through knowledge sharing and hands-on training sessions
- Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to communicate complex threats clearly
- Experience working in remote or hybrid cybersecurity teams
