Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection mechanisms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure architecture design
- Document security protocols and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (AlienVault, Recorded Future)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong knowledge of NIST and CIS frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
