Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and respond to alerts in real-time
- Lead incident response investigations, including malware analysis and threat hunting
- Develop and implement security controls to protect cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SOC analyst experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
