Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts and incidents.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and maintain advanced security protocols, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
- Lead incident response teams during cyber security breaches and forensic investigations.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network security or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if applicable).
