The Role:
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the guardian of our digital assets. You will design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect our organization’s systems from cyber attacks, hacking, and malicious software. We are looking for a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM platform in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Lead forensic investigations into security breaches and coordinate recovery efforts.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber threats and security trends to recommend proactive defense strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network administration.
- Active CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or similar SIEM solutions.
- Experience with incident response frameworks and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
