Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts within our equity options trading platforms during off-hours and weekends.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal systems to identify potential exploits.
- Manage and tune SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect anomalous behavior in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts for weekend security breaches, coordinating with internal IT teams and external law enforcement if necessary.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS) across all trading infrastructure.
- Document security incidents, root causes, and remediation strategies for post-incident reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Active CISSP, CISM, or GSEC certification is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the Fintech or Financial Services sector.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and equity options market structure.
- Experience with Weekend Shift operations and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automated threat detection.
