Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security protocols across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for complex breaches using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for Fortune 500 clients
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks and access control systems
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Report to CISO on threat intelligence and compliance (NIST/CIS)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in SOC/IR roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and cloud-native protection
- Proficiency in threat hunting tools (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent military/industry experience
