Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and manage incident response workflows using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage patch management cycles.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and internal security policies through audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training to staff members and document security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
