Responsibilities
- Monitor and Respond: Analyze security alerts from SIEM tools and respond to incidents in real-time to minimize system downtime.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Security Implementation: Configure, manage, and tune firewalls, IDS/IPS, and anti-malware solutions across the network.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development, review, and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security analysis.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), scripting languages (Python/Bash), and network security concepts.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
