Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events through SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and respond to potential breaches in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Lead incident response investigations, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to contain and remediate threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
- Perform regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or threat intelligence.
- Strong working knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites if required.
