Your Role:
As an Entry Level Data Analyst, you will collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making. You will ensure data integrity, prepare reports, and uncover trends that help us stay ahead of the competition.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, scrub, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- SQL & Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve complex data and perform exploratory data analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports in Tableau or Power BI to track KPIs and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Identify patterns, anomalies, and growth opportunities within the data to support strategic business planning.
- Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and ad-hoc analyses to support the marketing and sales departments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. (Graduates welcome!)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strongly required) and experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Analytics Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights simply.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a strong problem-solving mindset.
