Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts and conduct 24/7 threat hunting across enterprise networks to identify and neutralize vulnerabilities.
- Incident Management: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment: Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Pentesting Support: Collaborate with red team operations to validate security controls and penetration test new applications.
- Security Architecture: Assist in designing and implementing next-generation firewalls, SIEM solutions, and endpoint protection strategies.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate detailed reports on security posture and compliance metrics for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel), IDS/IPS systems, and scripting languages (Python or PowerShell).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
