Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for malware, phishing, and DDoS attacks
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for threat detection and mitigation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Generate executive security reports and KPI dashboards for leadership
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/IR focus
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks
- Experience with NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 standards
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to present complex concepts
