Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools and investigate anomalies in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks/applications
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Analyze threat intelligence and implement proactive security controls
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Document security procedures and prepare executive-level threat reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SOC analyst experience
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ CE required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat hunting
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
