Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security controls across cloud and hybrid infrastructure
- Lead incident response investigations and threat hunting initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts and playbooks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Provide expert guidance on compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Document security procedures and create executive-level threat briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, GIAC) or equivalent experience
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
