Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for complex security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate emerging threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Create executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Research and implement advanced threat detection methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
