Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Continuously monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery, to minimize business impact.
- Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting sessions to identify advanced persistent threats (APTs) and malicious actors within the network.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability assessment and remediation process, ensuring timely patching and configuration hardening.
- Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements.
- Tool Management: Manage and optimize security tools, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is required; GCIH or CISM is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
