Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/7 security operations center monitoring using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, reports)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Monitor emerging threats and provide actionable intelligence to leadership
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in SOC operations
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis
- Proficiency with security tools: IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and deception technology
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with minimal supervision
