Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Investigate suspicious network activity and conduct forensic analysis when breaches occur.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
