Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Implement and monitor advanced SIEM/SOAR platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (required)
- Expertise in network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with threat hunting experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
