Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols to defend against advanced persistent threats
- Lead incident response investigations using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on enterprise systems
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security automation workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ in security operations
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with threat hunting and digital forensics
