Responsibilities
- Lead SOC operations including threat hunting, incident response, and forensic analysis
- Design and implement advanced security controls for cloud/on-premises environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise clients
- Develop security documentation including playbooks, policies, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Monitor emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of NIST framework, ISO 27001, and compliance regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to document complex security scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
