Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and security incident response
- Design and implement advanced security controls for cloud, network, and endpoint environments
- Lead penetration testing engagements and provide actionable remediation guidance
- Monitor SIEM alerts and investigate security incidents using forensic methodologies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and threat mitigation
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders
