Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) dashboards and alerts to detect, analyze, and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure and applications.
- Investigate security incidents, root cause analysis, and coordinate incident response procedures with internal stakeholders.
- Manage and configure security tools, including SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and Next-Gen Firewalls.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards such as NIST, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security protocols, incident reports, and technical architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
