Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across hybrid environments
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and patch management
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Lead incident response planning and tabletop exercises
- Evaluate emerging threats and recommend proactive countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), and NIST frameworks
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
