Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and HIPAA standards
- Analyze logs and forensic data to investigate security incidents
- Create executive-level security dashboards and risk assessment reports
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CEH required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and threat intelligence
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
