Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage advanced security monitoring solutions (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS)
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis for security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement 'Security by Design' principles
- Generate executive security reports and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF)
- Proficiency with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security tools
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR)
- Valid US government security clearance or ability to obtain
