Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Develop/implement security controls for cloud and hybrid environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security posture
- Create incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Generate executive security reports and threat intelligence briefings
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection/response
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
