Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues for 50+ enterprise clients across NYC
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including VPNs and intrusion detection systems
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network solutions
- Provide 24/7 on-call support on rotating schedule
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- A+ certification preferred for hardware troubleshooting
- Valid NYS driver's license for client site visits
