Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation efforts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS
- Produce comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and Active Directory
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
