Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for ransomware/phishing attacks (MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/execute security playbooks for zero-day threats
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on secure CI/CD pipelines
- Present threat intelligence to executive stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53, ISO 27001
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity (SOC, CISO, or equivalent)
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with threat hunting and EDR tools
- Strong scripting (Python/Bash) and automation skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- BS in Cybersecurity or related field
