Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and implement incident response playbooks for ransomware, APT, and DDoS scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and compliance frameworks
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead security awareness training programs for 500+ employees
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in analyst/operations roles
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize high-severity incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication for technical/non-technical audiences
