Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden systems and remediate vulnerabilities
- Lead incident response procedures and forensic investigations
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike/Mandiant)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
