Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols to protect cloud infrastructure and data assets
- Conduct 24/7 threat monitoring using SIEM tools and respond to security incidents
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Develop comprehensive incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
