Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and incident response coordination
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments using SIEM tools
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for threat detection
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST and CIS compliance frameworks
- Deliver executive-level security briefings and remediation roadmaps
- Manage cloud security configurations across AWS/Azure environments
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Proven incident response handling and forensic investigation skills
- Ability to maintain TS/SCI clearance (or obtain within 6 months)
