Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop security policies and procedures aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend security enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (GCIH, GCFA)
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
- Proven experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical documentation
