Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and incident response for enterprise environments
- Conduct advanced threat hunting using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Develop and maintain security automation playbooks using Python and PowerShell
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/on-prem infrastructures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Present quarterly threat briefings to CISO stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC operations or threat intelligence
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent (e.g., GCIH, CEH)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Palo Alto, Fortinet, CrowdStrike)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
