The Role:
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will monitor security events, analyze vulnerability reports, and lead incident response efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards.
Responsibilities
- Security Monitoring: Conduct 24/7 monitoring of security alerts and SIEM dashboards to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches and incidents using a structured incident response framework.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses and recommend patches.
- Threat Intelligence: Analyze global threat landscapes to predict emerging risks and adapt security protocols accordingly.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and internal security policies.
- Policy Enforcement: Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems to enforce security policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and scripting languages (Python or Bash).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
