Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct 24/7 security monitoring and incident response for potential breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden network architecture.
- Document security incidents, procedures, and post-incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
