Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM environment to ensure 24/7 threat visibility.
- Conduct thorough threat hunting activities to identify hidden, advanced persistent threats within the network.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery operations.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff and create detailed incident reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SOC, Threat Intelligence, or Incident Response role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
