Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM environment to ensure 24/7 threat visibility.
  • Conduct thorough threat hunting activities to identify hidden, advanced persistent threats within the network.
  • Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery operations.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Conduct security awareness training for staff and create detailed incident reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SOC, Threat Intelligence, or Incident Response role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
