Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security protocols for cloud and hybrid infrastructure
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and Arizona state regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure CI/CD pipeline implementation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and firewalls
- Ability to create detailed incident reports and remediation plans
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
