Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures using tools like Palo Alto Networks and Splunk
- Lead incident response for security breaches including malware analysis and containment
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on enterprise networks
- Develop security documentation including playbooks and compliance reports
- Monitor SIEM alerts and investigate anomalies across cloud and on-premise environments
- Mentor junior analysts and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats through threat intelligence research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (required)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Active security clearance preferred
