Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for network intrusions
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts in Python
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive security dashboards and incident reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC/IR experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security best practices)
- Ability to work rotating night shifts in 24/7 environment
