Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead forensic investigations into security breaches, documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies to proactively enhance our defense posture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and tool development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
