Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and incident response for enterprise networks
- Implement and manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Lead security awareness training initiatives across the organization
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SOC tools and techniques
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH (required)
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong analytical skills with threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
