Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response for complex security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Provide executive-level security briefings and risk analysis
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/IR background
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud security and network architecture
- Proficiency in Splunk, Palo Alto, or CrowdStrike tools
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
