Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM platform (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and threat hunting activities to identify potential exploits.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, documenting findings and coordinating with incident response teams.
- Manage firewall rules and configure network security devices to enforce security policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong working knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls) and compliance regulations.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
